Hey There
Curious about who we are? Excellent! We love curiosity.
All About Us
At the heart of my work is a deep belief in the power of relationships—those we build with others and the one we cultivate with ourselves. Whether it’s with family, friends, partners, co-workers, or our inner world, I believe that learning how to show up with honesty, compassion, and resilience is a lifelong practice worth investing in.

When people ask what coaching or therapy looks like with me, the honest answer is: we talk. We laugh. Sometimes we cry. And we always work at the edge between comfort and growth. My approach is collaborative and client-centered—we focus on what matters most to you. Many clients begin noticing shifts within a month of weekly sessions. Longer-lasting changes—like deep belief work and habit transformation—often take 6 months to a year or more of consistent effort, whether through weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly sessions.

While I can easily hang out in the intellectual realm, I’ve learned that real transformation often comes from strengthening emotional awareness. Logic is helpful—but not everything. Our emotions carry vital wisdom that helps us make clearer, more grounded decisions. Learning how to feel and understand your emotional life isn’t just therapeutic—it’s revolutionary.

Clients often tell me they appreciate my humor, my unconventional style, and my “direct-ish” approach. I believe we can take the work seriously without taking ourselves too seriously. Humor doesn’t take away from the depth of life—it adds richness, color, and connection. Together, we’ll challenge outdated social norms and explore what a life that’s authentically yours might look like.
Beyond the Coaching Space
Outside of sessions, I do my best to live the way I encourage my clients to live—with intention, curiosity, and a commitment to relationships that energize me. I’m a lifelong learner, especially in the areas of relational health, communication, and emotional resilience.
When I’m not working, you might find me social dancing in Taos or Santa Fe, playing Fortnite with adults around the globe, or geeking out over mobility, yoga, weightlifting, golf, or disc golf. I’m also a devoted foodie (with a dairy allergy that keeps things interesting) and I love discovering new cuisines.

Some of my favorite internet rabbit holes include:
-
Brain health and neuroscience
-
Couples communication and relational dynamics
-
Women’s health and wellness
-
Financial empowerment
-
Dance videos that remind me life can be joyful and silly
A Bit More About Ellen
While shared experience isn’t necessary for effective coaching, I know that having a sense of "you get me" can make a difference. So here’s a little more about my background and lived experience:

-
I’ve loved deeply, lost love, and rebuilt from heartbreak.
-
I’ve had relationships with partners navigating addiction and mental health challenges.
-
I was married for over 13 years—and I’ve also been through divorce.
-
I’ve felt shame, joy, numbness, hope, and everything in between.
-
I’ve explored conflict avoidance, anxious attachment, and the peace of secure connection.
-
I’m a parent to a non-binary stepchild I’ve raised since they were five.
-
I identify as lesbian and work with people across the spectrum: queer and straight, monogamous and poly, individuals and couples, teens (14+) and adults.
-
I was adopted by a white dad and a Filipina mom, and raised with a blend of American, Filipino, and working-class values—with a healthy side of generational quirks.
Let's Work Together
My mission is to support people in creating healthier, more empowered relationships—with themselves and the world around them. If you’re curious about working together, I’d love to connect.
